The Celestron StarSense Explorer 12" Dobsonian is for someone who wants to see just how far visual astronomy can go with a large-aperture telescope.

Its enormous 305mm parabolic primary mirror gives it the greatest light-gathering capability in Celestron's StarSense Explorer Dobsonian range. StarSense Explorer makes that huge observing potential far easier to use. Select an object in the app and follow the arrows while manually moving the telescope towards it. There are no motors deciding where you observe and no powered GoTo mount to set up: you retain the simplicity of a traditional Dobsonian and direct eyepiece viewing while StarSense handles the navigation.

What Can You See?

There are no motors moving the telescope for you. StarSense provides the navigation while you retain full manual control.
