It's a hardy tool and looked good for my 5 year old. But the range of what you can see and in what detail is very limited and finicky. I may just need to spend more time playing with different samples. Some with light behind them and some not.
It might be a lot better if it came with some 'dos and don'ts and tips'. I couldn't find any instructions on how to get some interesting and well focused examples of things to look at
